Had an enjoyable day yesterday at Corby shopping centre, with my racecar, Lunar Racing and Rockingham Motor Speedway.
I was kept busy all day with talking to local residents, signing autographs, radio, newspaper and magazine interviews and most importantly promoting the teams new Centre for Education based at Rockingham to prospective students.
Although the students who work on my car at the track are College age many of the students that built the car were school age. With the project now being offered to Schools in the Corby area many more 14 – 16 year olds will experience the course which although counts as one of their options actually delivers the equivalent of 5 GCSEs.
The interest in the course yesterday was incredible and I can?t wait to take the car into the schools on option evenings.
