It has been incredibly busy the last couple weeks as the whole team make preperations for the biggest event on the BritCar calender. Although the race is 6 hours this year instead of 24 there is the same buzz about the event it seems.
Firstly the biggest news for me personally is a new sponsor for the race. XPart are suppliers of all MG-Rover parts to the industry, and I will be proud to have their name on my race overalls. The company have been great supporters of the team since the start, so to increase this by supporting me as well is greatly appreciated.
I have had interview clips played on the radio before but I have had 2 live radio appearences this month and one prerecorded one. So that was great fun, I actually got a lot of air time on BBC H&W?s breakfast show.
The team have been really busy on the car since the gearbox failure at Snetterton, and for the first time we will be using a gearbox built for the track instead of the M42, thanks to Quaiffe.
Voting for driverdb competition for free entry to the Grand Prix Shootout ends on the 30th so just a few days left to vote. After the disapointment of losing my single seater chance this year, this competition provides a superb opportunity for me. If you have yet to vote please vote for me at
