I?m Francesc Robert driver from the Principality of Andorra. I?ve been racing in the Spanish GT Championship (www.gtsport.es) during the seasons 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Unfortunately during 2008 I?ve been racing in minor GT races because of budget reasons.
During winter time I use to race in ice circuits. I usually race in my own country in Pas de la Casa Circuit ( www.aca.ad ) . I race the G-Series. 2009 has started really well; I finished the first race on the podium. But?unfortunately I?ve been injured on my left leg during the 3rd race of this spectacular championship. I always tell that this is not a dangerous sport. Or we can say that this is not more dangerous than other sports like ski (in the past I use to be member of the National Ski Team of my country). And this is the first time I become injured and it become complicated because of a thrombosis. Oh my God! I wanted to start preparing 2009 GT season and now I will have to wait three months!! Three months without driving!! Can you understand what it means? Oh my God!
But I hope to start again in the Spanish GT but I don?t know if it will be for the whole season (crisis and obviously budget reasons).
