After such a great start to the championship, I was really looking forward to the second round at Snetterton. Jake and I were ready to build on our success from the opening round and were confident we could get on the podium again and stay at the top of the leader board in the GT4 class.
I couldn’t believe it when I pulled an overtaking manoeuvre on a GT4 Lotus Evora into the chicane and was suddenly hit in the side by another car.? The collision broke an upright beam and put us out of the race.? I am so frustrated I wasn?t allowed to finish the race and feel gutted for Jake as he didn?t get into the car; I really think we could have got on the podium again.
The crash cost us and we dropped down to fifth in the GT4 class standings but I am now even more determined for a success at Brands Hatch in June.
