After a season of struggling for a budget in British Formula Ford, at times with very limited testing with an old car that was not very competitive, this is a huge achievement.

I have to thank John and Felix Scott from Wrensport,?who worked incredibly hard all season preparing the Spirit Formula Ford for?us to achieve 2nd place in the Scholarship class. A key moment was the win at Brands Hatch in front of the DTM crowd where we showed how much work we had put in all year to be the first in the UK to win in a Spirit Formula Ford chassis.

The Formula Ford festival was a huge event for me this year. Fluid Motorsport gave me a huge opportunityto race in their team for the weekend, and?I got to show exactly what?I could do in a competitive car and be right at the front of the field, it was a great feeling to be mixing it up in the lead pack again. I had a fantastic weekend and finished 6th in the final, which i was incredibly proud of and?I have to thank fluid for all their hard work that weekend.

These results seemingly have shown all season what?I can do, Ginetta sports cars were two very successful years for me in 2007 and 2008. With equal equipment?I was able to win many races and finish 2nd in both championship years, and take both winter series titles including the Walter Hayes Trophy. However moving up?the ladder on such a low?budget has proved very difficult.

I am incredibly excited for 2010, and this publication has given me a huge boost, however plans are moving very slowly with finding the budget to race anything at all in 2010, which is disappointing. I plan to race Formula Ford again, although?I would like?to keep my options open if other opportunities arise.
