Matt Cherrington
Matt currently competes in the 750MC Locost Championship in a Bio-Ethanol powered car, sponsored by Biotech Motorsport and Coventry University.
In 2009 he scored four outright wins in quick succession on his way to 5th in the championship, despite missing the final three rounds. During 2009 he was also rewarded for his success with a prize drive in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup, courtesy of the Dunlop Race Academy, at Castle Combe where he took a class pole position, one victory and another podium from three races in a completely unfamiliar car.
In 2010 Matt will again concentrate on the Locost Championship, whilst possibly exploring one off races in other championships to broaden his experience.
Matt also runs TMC Motorsport (www.tmcmotorsport.co.uk) Race Preparation and Trackside Support, catering for all the needs of club level competitors, from building of race cars to driver development and coaching.
